The Great Palmistry Atlas
A Compendium
336 pages
illustrated in B/W
Palmistry is the probably best known method of predicting the future, conjuring the vision of a mysterious gypsy woman offering to read one's hand and to reveal our fate in life and love. It is a misleading image because the lines in our hands, the hand's form itself, the fingers and the nails can rather reveal our character and physical condition than our future. The hand can be seen as a blueprint of our mental and physical condition; the structure of one's fingernails, for example, can help to arrive at a precise diagnosis.
The practice of palmistry, also known as chiromancy, keeps gaining momentum and becomes more and more accepted as a method to attain insights into our physical and spiritual development, just as it happened with working with chakras, astrology and the tarot. Palmistry is a complex science that demands a detailed study and many years of experience, simply by nature of the fact that there are so many different hands.
A lot of literature is available, yet there are few books that provide a complete overview of all the different forms, lines and other parts of the hands. After years of practice, The Great Palmistry Atlas came into being through the author's express wish to combine all relevant aspects of palmistry in one work well organized work. The Great Palmistry Atlas thus contains hundreds of images showing hands, fingers, nails, 'mounds' etc., accompanied by clear descriptions that provide information on aspects such as health and love, career and spirituality; and the author provides very good guidelines for a fitting interpretation.
The Great Palmistry Atlas is a modern and very complete work about palmistry which deserves a place in the library of everyone interested in the development of his/her physical condition and spiritual capacities.
